About Venues for 75 Guests

Seventy-five guests sits in a sweet spot that NYC event planners know well: large enough to fill a room with real energy, intimate enough that everyone still feels part of the same celebration. This collection spans the best of what the city has to offer at that count, from the cherry blossom-adorned Greek oasis of Skinos in the Financial District to the dramatic 45-foot marble bar at Little More in Tribeca, where a towering 16-foot library of spirits sets the backdrop for anything from a corporate reception to a milestone birthday. Whether you are drawn to the exposed brick and vintage chandeliers of Velvet Brooklyn in Williamsburg or the projection-mapped loft spaces of Loft Story in Greenpoint, each venue here was chosen because it handles 75 guests without wasting a single square foot of atmosphere. In 2026, the demand for spaces that feel alive rather than empty has never been higher, and these venues deliver exactly that. The flexibility factor is real too. Venues like PubKey in Greenwich Village offer sections like the Attic that comfortably seat your group with room to move, while Loft Story lets you mix and match a main gallery, a rooftop terrace, and a speakeasy bar across multiple spaces within the same event. That ability to give guests different environments to drift between is what separates a good party from a genuinely memorable one, and at 75 people you have just enough headcount to make every corner of these venues feel activated and full of life.

Expert Tip

When planning for 75 guests, prioritize venues that offer a dedicated private section at or just above your count rather than booking a full buyout of a much larger space. Little More in Tribeca is a smart pick here because its Entire Back Area Upstairs accommodates up to 65 guests as a private section, and pairing it with an adjacent area gives you room to scale without paying for space you do not need. Loft Story in Greenpoint is another strong option, noting that its capacity listing specifically calls out 75 seated with dance floor, meaning the room is engineered to feel full and energetic at exactly your number.

Venue Highlights

Skinos

Skinos brings a transportive Greek oasis to the Financial District, where cherry blossom installations, a koi fish pond, and innovative Mediterranean cuisine set the stage for a group of 75 to feel like they have been whisked away from the city entirely. With semi-private and private sections accommodating up to 150, the space flexes beautifully around your headcount without ever feeling oversized.

Little More

Little More in Tribeca delivers the kind of dramatic backdrop that makes 75 guests feel like the hottest party in the city, anchored by a 45-foot marble bar, a towering 16-foot library of spirits, and a botanical cocktail program from alumni of the acclaimed bar Apotheke. The Entire Back Area Upstairs seats up to 65 for a more intimate feel, while the full upstairs and bar section opens up to 150 when the energy calls for it.

Velvet Brooklyn

Velvet Brooklyn in Williamsburg is built for exactly this headcount, with its full venue holding up to 110 guests across two bar areas, exposed brick walls, vintage chandeliers, and a disco ball that keeps the dance floor alive all night. A Pioneer DDJ-SZ2 DJ controller, AV equipment, and a projector mean the production value matches the velvet-wrapped ambiance from the first song to the last call.

Pubkey

PubKey in Greenwich Village is a rare find for 75 guests, offering The Attic back room with its four skylights and dance-ready carpet as a private retreat steps away from Washington Square Park. The 1930s ceiling, exposed brick, and classic checkered floor in the front bar give the full venue a layered, lived-in character that turns a medium-large group into a genuine neighborhood gathering.

LOFT STORY

Loft Story in Greenpoint is purpose-built for a group of 75 to move fluidly between worlds, whether that means dinner under state-of-the-art 3D projection mapping in the main loft, cocktails on the rooftop terrace with Empire State Building skyline views, or a late-night wind-down in the intimate speakeasy bar. With an on-site coordinator, bartenders, and a commercial kitchen all included, 2026 events here run seamlessly from the first arrival to well past midnight.

Venue Selection Guide

Your Complete Planning Guide for NYC Venues for 75 Guests

Choosing the Right Space for Your Group

Seventy-five guests is a sweet spot that sits between an intimate dinner party and a full-scale event, so the key is finding a venue where your group fills the room without feeling cramped or lost. Spaces like Resobox in the East Village cap out at exactly 75 guests, meaning your crowd will naturally create a buzzing, energized atmosphere with no dead zones. If you want flexibility to spread across multiple areas, consider Little More in Tribeca, where the Entire Back Area Upstairs holds 65 guests and can be combined with other sections, or Velvet Brooklyn in Williamsburg, where the Full Venue holds 110 and the Velvet Room holds 60, giving you options to configure the night. For a more dramatic setting, Loft Story in Greenpoint lets you mix and match the Main Loft, Rooftop Terrace, and Speakeasy so 75 guests can flow between distinct environments across the evening.

Budgeting and Minimum Spends

Minimum spends across these venues range widely, from as low as $100 at Members Only West Village and The Rose in Chelsea, to $3,500 at The Ten Bells on the Lower East Side, so setting your budget early is essential. Mid-range minimums like $500 at Little More, $750 at Boss Tweeds in Tribeca, and $900 at Skinos in FiDi are very achievable when split across 75 guests, especially with food and beverage included. Venues like Resobox at $250 and Velvet Brooklyn at $125 offer some of the most affordable entry points, and Resobox's BYO-friendly policy means you can control catering costs directly. Always confirm what is included in the minimum spend, whether it covers food, bar packages, or just beverage sales, before signing anything.

Timing and Availability Considerations

For a group of 75, weekend evenings fill up quickly at popular spots like Boss Tweeds in Tribeca and Célon Bar and Lounge at Bryant Park, so booking at least six to eight weeks in advance for a 2026 date is a smart move. Midweek events can unlock more flexibility and sometimes better service, which works especially well at corporate-friendly spaces like Everything's Jake near Union Square or Lot 15 inside the Kixby Hotel in Midtown. If your event runs late, prioritize venues noted for staying open late, including Silence Please on the Bowery, Little More in Tribeca, and Loft Story in Greenpoint. Outdoor or rooftop sections like the Rooftop Terrace at Loft Story or the Secret Garden at Saint in the East Village require weather contingency planning, so always ask about indoor backup options.

Questions to Ask Before You Book

Before committing to any venue, ask whether your group of 75 can occupy a private or semi-private section versus being mixed with the general public, since venues like Saint offer a Secret Garden that holds 80 privately, while others like The Ten Bells offer semi-private Combined Rooms for 60. Confirm the minimum spend structure, whether a buyout is required, and whether staffing such as bartenders, servers, and a coordinator is included, as Loft Story explicitly includes an on-site coordinator, bartenders, and servers in their packages. Ask about outside catering and BYO policies, since Resobox welcomes outside food and non-alcoholic beverages and allows hosts to serve alcohol to guests, which can meaningfully reduce costs. Finally, check on AV and tech needs upfront, as venues like Velvet Brooklyn include a projector, disco ball, and Pro DJ Controller, while Silence Please on the Bowery features a professional high-fidelity sound system and turntables.

Neighborhood-Specific Tips

If your guests are coming from all over the city, transit-accessible neighborhoods like Tribeca, the East Village, Midtown, and Union Square are your safest bets, with venues like Boss Tweeds, Little More, Everything's Jake, and Célon all sitting near major subway hubs. Brooklyn venues like Velvet Brooklyn in Williamsburg and Third Falcon in Fort Greene are excellent for locally rooted crowds and offer a more neighborhood-feel experience, though you should remind guests to plan for the extra travel time. FiDi is quieter on weekends, which actually works in your favor at Skinos on Washington Street since guests will find easy access and a calmer street scene outside, with the World Trade Center complex and Oculus nearby as natural meet-up points. Queens is an underrated option for a 2026 event, and Atmosfera in Astoria stands out with free street parking nearby, a private terrace, and natural light that makes it especially attractive for afternoon or early-evening gatherings.

Insider Picks for Different Event Vibes

For a cocktail-forward celebration where the drinks are the star, Apotheke Chinatown on Doyers Street with its 250-plus house recipes and over 500 premium spirits, or BarChef New York in Midtown with its modernist cocktail program and Empire State Building views, will genuinely impress 75 guests. If you want a room that delivers a jaw-dropping visual moment the second guests walk in, Little More in Tribeca with its 45-foot marble bar and 16-foot library of spirits or the neon-soaked hot pink bar at The Rose in Chelsea are hard to beat. For a more culturally rich or unconventional experience, Loft Story in Greenpoint offers 3D projection mapping that can be customized to your event theme, while Silence Please on the Bowery is a truly one-of-a-kind venue for music-focused events or album release gatherings. If your priority is exceptional food alongside the atmosphere, Third Falcon in Fort Greene brings a fine-dining pedigree rooted in Northern French cuisine, and Skinos in FiDi delivers an innovative Greek and Mediterranean menu inside a space with cherry blossom installations and a koi fish pond.

Beautiful venue with some of the best cocktails I ever tried. I went to two events at this venue when it just opened in November and I will be back

Jupiter Disco is one of my favorites dance spaces in New York!! It’s my go to spot in bushwick. Along with a steady dose of incredible DJs, the intimate atmosphere makes in feel extremely personal, which I love. The new lighting system is incredible !! and they also serve some of the best cocktails around (my favorites are the Dead Ringer and A.M. Radio). Another awesome part of Jupiter Disco are their community-oriented, which featuring things like movie screenings and even a chess night. Check this place out when you can. Highly recommended, love!!
