RPM Underground is an 11,000-square-foot karaoke lounge and event venue at 246 W 54th St in Midtown West, a short walk from the Times Square subway hub. Guests enter through a functioning vintage record store that opens into a speakeasy-style lounge celebrating American pop culture, with neon lighting, themed decor, and two full-service bars serving cocktails, beer, and wine. The venue is organized around 18 individually themed private karaoke rooms that hold anywhere from 5 to 40 guests, from a 1950s-diner-inspired party room to an intimate room lined with license plates from every US state. Rooms come with karaoke setups, flat-screen TVs, and access to an extensive song catalog, and are primarily rented by the hour. For larger events, spaces can be combined, with configurations accommodating up to 500 guests. Food is American pub fare available alongside the full bar. This place was a 5/5 ⭐️ We went there for our friend’s birthday a big group of 20+ people and the staff treated us so nicely!! The decoration is superb!!! And the music catalog is extensive which is where many other karaoke places fall short ironically. Would highly recommend!!

Fantastic Karaoke venue! I’ve arranged multiple large group karaoke events here, both in the evening and for their weekend brunch, and every time the friendly staff deliver. Two of my friends have celebrated their birthdays here and as of summer 2024 so have I. The venue even offers a non-private area. Could not recommend this place more highly 👌🏻

We booked a private karaoke room for three hours because a friend recommended the place and it didn’t miss. Really good selection of songs, a small but reasonable menu of food, and a wide array of drinks to enjoy the night! The service was excellent, everyone was super attentive and they made sure that the reservation was secured and adequate for our needs beforehand.
