This is a lovely, cozy restaurant...
by Liz Savery
This is a lovely, cozy restaurant that doesn’t have to work hard at all to make you think you’re in Paris. That works for me, and in addition to that, the food and the service are excellent. We’ve never had anything we wouldn’t get again. We generally start with the bread service, which there is a charge for, but you get plenty of bread (and four different kinds!) The cocktails are generous and well made, and the food arrives hot, well-prepared and tasty (and there’s plenty of it, if you’re splitting.) We’ve had the same waitress several times (Stefanie) and the same runners/busboys as well. Stefanie remembered our drink preference even thought it had been a few months, and stopped by to check on us the perfect amount of times. Tiff, the manager, also stops by to check on service and food. The runner really seems to want us to enjoy our meal, which is lovely, and he even remembered a nut allergy from a previous visit, which was amazing. This is a great night out in the Village; it’s not loud, and everything you want to be there, is there. Plus, it’s on inKind, if that’s your thing.

We came here for New Year’s Eve dinner and it was amazing. Great ambiance and Service. Food was delicious. We especially loved the escargot and the duck l’orange. Our waitress was so cute- she gave us complementary champagne for my birthday and wrote personalized notes! 10 out of 10 definitely recommend
Went for the Christmas Dinner special,...

Went for the Christmas Dinner special, it's worth it! Everything was hot when served. The onion soup was the best I have eaten, and I do not like onion soup. The pasta with mushrooms was my favorite, the sauce was so creamy and it had a lot of mushrooms! The beef was super tender with a tantalizing flavor. The glazed carrots with the truffle sauce 😍. From the dessert my favorite was the poached pear,(just because I do not like chocolate cakes) The pear had little pieces of candied orange which was a nice surprise. The ambiance of the place is a mixture of cozy and sultry, which is great for a date or a family outing. The employees were professional and welcoming. I also recomend the passion fruit cocktail. Definitely comming back when in the area.
My wife and I are on...
by John Withrow
My wife and I are on vacation in NYC and we stumbled into this place waiting for the Village Vanguard show to start and we are so glad we did. From the minute we walked in, everything was top notch. The host seated us right away at the bar even though we didn’t have reservations. Julian, one of the bartenders, took amazing care of us. He gave my wife the excess of a cocktail he had made for a taste test and she loved it so we ordered one. We had the chef’s choice cheese board for an app and shared a NY strip with fries for the main. The steak was cooked perfectly and the beef was great quality. It was seasoned perfectly, not over done to take away from the beef flavor, and it had a great lightly smoked flavor from the grill. There was a sauce on the plate with the steak that gave it a great umami flavor. The fries were so good. Light and crispy, very similar to a McDonald’s type fry, but piping hot and cooked perfectly. They also had an aioli sauce that came with them that was so flavorful and fresh. As we were wrapping up eating our meal, the manager, or owner, came over and let us know dessert and some wine was going to be on him for the delay on our steak. Honestly, we didn’t even notice a huge delay. There was maybe 15 minutes after we finished our cheese board before our steak and fries were sent out. The crème brûlée was fresh, creamy, and light with a perfect flavor. It was a great way to end our meal. The fact that the dessert and wine was comped was a great touch to an already stellar experience. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the food here. The best meal and service we’ve had in NYC and probably anywhere else. They were also doing a toy drive for their neighborhood and giving toys away to charities. Do not miss this restaurant! If you are in Greenwich Village/West Village, stop in and have one of the best dining experiences of your life!
New spot in a prime West...

New spot in a prime West Village location with a really beautiful interior — two floors (though the second floor isn’t always open). We came here for brunch and the food was decent, nothing extraordinary but enjoyable. The vibe and decor are definitely the highlights, super cute and stylish. They also have a nice bar, so it’s a great place to grab a drink and hang out. Worth checking out for the atmosphere!
