About Hudson Yards Hotel

Hudson Yards Hotel has four private event spaces under one roof, all a short walk from Hudson Yards, the Javits Center and Times Square.

The Glass Atrium is a glass-roofed room with warm wood walls and lots of natural light, holding up to 210 guests standing or 70 seated. The Great Lawn is one of the few private outdoor spaces in Midtown, an open-air courtyard with a big, colorful mural that fits up to 350 standing. The Garden Retreat is a hedge-lined private garden for up to 195 standing, and The 42nd Social is a wood-and-bronze event space with a central bar for up to 170 standing.

We host birthday parties, cocktail receptions, private dinners, corporate events, holiday parties, product launches and photo shoots. Book one space or combine a few for a bigger event.

Our events team coordinates catering, a licensed bar, AV, staffing and hotel rooms for out-of-town guests.

The 42nd Social
Our private event space with a big central bar, warm wood and bronze finishes, and views out to West 42nd Street. The bar sits in the middle of the room, so guests naturally gather and mingle. Book it for cocktail parties, birthday and holiday parties, private dining, after-work drinks, networking receptions, corporate events or a full buyout. Holds up to 170 guests standing; seated layouts are confirmed for each event.

The Glass Atrium & Sun Deck

A bright, private event space with a full glass roof, floor-to-ceiling windows, warm wood walls and wood floors. Daytime events get plenty of natural light, and in the evening the room glows with the city all around it. Glass doors open onto a sun deck with green walls for fresh air and photos. Great for birthday parties, cocktail receptions, seated dinners, corporate events, product launches and photo shoots. Holds up to 210 guests standing, 150 theater-style or 70 seated.
